• The Project
Melton Dental Group in Melton, VIC sought to expand their digital footprint and attract more patients through their online presence.
Recognising the importance of a comprehensive SEO strategy, we partnered with them to enhance their visibility in search engines. Our main objective was to drive more organic traffic to their website and increase patient inquiries and bookings by leveraging targeted SEO techniques tailored to their specific needs and market conditions.
• Challenges
One of the major issues with the Melton Dental Group website was that it was not optimised for the target areas properly. A significant portion of the traffic came from the USA, which was irrelevant to the website's objectives.
Additionally, the pages looked outdated and unappealing, and the website lacked proper CTAs and failed to provide a satisfactory user experience.
The site suffered from a poorly structured URL system, ineffective internal linking, and a poor site architecture. Treatment pages were not performing well due to insufficient on-page and technical optimisations.
Moreover, the website had numerous instances of duplicate content, causing keyword cannibalisation and reducing SEO effectiveness. The competition in the target areas was high and the site authority of Melton Dental was low compared to other local competitors.
• The Strategy
To address the challenges faced by Melton Dental Group, we employed our unique proven methods tailored to the client. We relaunched the website with an SEO-optimised design that effectively encourages users to send inquiries or book appointments. Our comprehensive strategy included content pruning, content optimisations, technical optimisations, and on-page and local SEO enhancements.
We also focused on optimising the business profile and directory listings to increase local SEO impact. Additionally, we utilised Bing and Bing Webmaster Tools to improve rankings on Bing search as well as prepare for the rising SGE experience. By targeting the right keywords, we aimed to increase relevant traffic from the target areas and gradually reduce irrelevant traffic.
• The Results
Our efforts increased search engine ranks and conversions, resulting in fantastic outcomes for the client. Within a year, Organic traffic from Google SERPs climbed up significantly while reducing irrelevant traffic. More than 378 keywords obtained first-page rankings, with 160+ keywords landing in the top three results.
With the increased number of conversions, our SEO effort was successful in boosting patient bookings and filling available appointment slots at the clinic.
